Hi Katarina! It’s great you’re taking the initiative to set up a meeting in September, as I’ve been busy with moving and have just gotten my home office set up again (think: my computer and printer function, and I know where my paper and pencils are !!!).

I can’t come on the 16th because there’s a water inspection here in our house (??? - don’t know what that’s about) BUT I’ll post a message in our WhatsApp group. You - and anyone else who’s not already a member - can also join the WhatsApp group. That makes it very simple to contact people quickly as well! Get in touch (I’ll email you in case you don’t have my address) and we can also chat that way.

Hi Beth, that’s definitely great. But… Do you think the MeetUp is worthwhile, even though I am currently in a retraining program and am basically not a UX designer? After all, I am currently learning various skills to kickstart my career as a product manager next year :)?

Meetup attendees

Members can show their interest to attend a meetup by clicking “Attend this meetup” button. In addition, since Local Groups events are open to all, non-members can also attend these meetups.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meetup (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meetups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
